Marin Transit

BlinkTag worked with Marin Transit to create marintransit.org, a fully-responsive transit agency website. Route timetables, maps and system overview data are generated automatically using the latest schedule data from GTFS.

A custom realtime arrival tool was built using APIs from Marin Transit's AVL system. BlinkTag also created a paratransit program finder tool to help riders find paratransit services based on their individual eligibility factors and location.

In addition to providing fixed-route and paratransit service, Marin Transit operates school routes for two school districts. BlinkTag created two different e-commerce storefronts for selling school route passes and built applications for exporting data from Shopify in a specific format and notifying specific schools when passes are sold.

BlinkTag also created a single-page website for Connect2Transit, a shared-ride and microtransit service operated by Marin Transit and the Transportation Authority of Marin.
