Making induced travel research easier to use
Streetsblog California covered the launch of the California Induced Travel Calculator in 2019. BlinkTag built the software and interface with the National Center for Sustainable Transportation at UC Davis.

Users choose a road type, county, and number of added lane-miles. The calculator applies the researchers’ methodology to estimate the resulting increase in vehicle miles traveled.
The results are research-based estimates, not guaranteed outcomes.
