The Client: Arup is an international team of urban designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services.

The Project: BlinkTag built a seven-step visual guide that helps a user select their placetype based on density, zoning, transit, street grid, sidewalk, bicycle and parking infrastructure information. BlinkTag imported Arup’s database of trip generation rates to inform the travel demand process with context-specific rates to more accurately predict the number and types of trips generated by diverse land uses. The project goal is to help planners, engineers, developers and public officials save money and resources from the over-allocation of road and parking space as they work to better plan places for people.
