Sustainable Transportation in Jiaxing, China

The Client: The fast-growing city of Jiaxing, China, commissioned a multidisciplinary study of sustainable transportation planning in the spring of 2007. The UC-Berkeley based team chosen to spearhead the project spent two weeks in China researching the project along with fellow students and professors from Tong Ji University in Shanghai.

The Project: As the lead transportation engineer on the project, Blinktag CEO Brendan Nee built maps and devised an interface between a proposed Bus Rapid Transit system and a nearby Maglev stop. His research was presented to the City of Government of Jiaxing at the end of the project. View the final report (.pdf 10 MB).
